Who is the merchant of record?

For most hotel bookings AmpleTravel or the contracted wholesaler is the merchant of record and the property is paid directly. Your client pays you.

Can I amend a booking after confirmation?

Name and date changes are available on many rates through the portal, and the 24/7 desk can attempt an amendment on the rest. Penalties depend on the rate's cancellation policy.

How do you handle overbookings?

The desk sources equivalent or better accommodation in the same area and covers the rate difference where the property is at fault. You get a named contact for the duration of the case.

Do you support long stays and groups?

Yes. Stays over 28 nights and bookings over nine rooms are quoted by the groups desk, since properties price those manually.
